PSX reports slight gains and crosses the psychological barrier of 43,000 – Money

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) maintained positive momentum on Wednesday, rising 83.30 points during early morning trading.

Hovering above the psychological level of 42,000-43,000 points, the benchmark KSE-100 index eventually posted a gain of 0.14% to 43,040.58 points.

When the morning bell rang on Wednesday, the index showed a minuscule recovery, rising to 43,040.58 points from its previously closed value of 42,928.63.

The largest contributor to the index’s rise is the Oil & Gas Exploration Companies, with a change of 10.79 points.

While the real estate sector shows the biggest change with a positive value of 0.44%.

However, TPLP remains the volume leader with a positive change of 1.24%.

Earlier on Tuesday, the KSE-100 ended trading in the green at 42,928.63 points from its previously closed value of 42,747.73 on Monday.
