Find the required Android version for apps in the Google Play Store

The Google Play Store is your gateway to the coolest apps, games, movies and TV shows, books, kids content and more. But if you’re sticking with an older Android device (probably for a kid or someone with no discernment of mobile needs), it’s important to make sure the app works properly on your device or can load at all. This is where the required Android version comes into play. Each app in the Google Play Store specifies the required Android version for the app, or the minimum requirements for it to run smoothly.
