Woman accused of shoplifting from Wilton Walmart

WILTON — A Corinthian woman was arrested Nov. 10 at Walmart in Wilton on charges of third-degree burglary, a misdemeanor and petty larceny, a misdemeanor.

At approximately 12:14 p.m., state police were called to Walmart on November 6 for a report of a shoplifting.

Police were told that a woman had stolen goods from the location the day before. She was confronted outside the store and the merchandise was recovered.

The investigation identified Kacey Boni, 36, as the person involved in the shoplifting, and that she had been banned from the Walmart store earlier in 2018. She was trespassing when the crime took place, police said.

Boni was given a ticket to Wilton Town Court.
