Library Announces Children’s Events | News, sports, jobs


ESCANABA — The children’s room of the Escanaba Public Library hosts several events in December.

On Saturday 3 December at 13:00 there will be a Multicultural Story Hour in the Children’s Story Room. This event is organized by the Multicultural Club of Bay College. Children as young as 5 can learn about Inuit culture.

On Saturday 10 December at 1 pm there will be a special Lego Club in the main hall of the library. The theme is “Santa’s Lego Workshop.” There will be prizes and refreshments. This is for kids of all ages.

Santa Claus will be visiting on Saturday, December 17 at 1 p.m. To accommodate everyone, this will take place in the Council Chamber. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Escanaba Public Library and Canterbury Book Store. Each child receives a small gift.

These events are free and open to the public.
