Apple on Tuesday released the third beta version of macOS Ventura 13.1 to developers for testing. The new beta comes a week after the second beta.
The developer version of macOS Ventura 13.1 is available for developers to download from the Apple Developer Center, and once the appropriate profile is installed, successive betas will be available through the Software Update mechanism in System Preferences.
The macOS Ventura 13.1 beta brings the Freeform app for creative collaboration. The app can be used for brainstorming, planning ideas, taking notes and more.
The update also introduces support for an updated Home app architecture.
macOS Ventura is compatible with the following Mac models:
- iMac 2017 and beyond
- Macpro 2019 and beyond
- iMac Pro 2017
- Mac mini 2018 and beyond
- MacBook Air 2018 and beyond

As usual, both MacTrast and Apple warn users not to install betas on their Daily Driver Macs, but only install betas on devices reserved for testing purposes.
