College Football QB Power Rankings: Drake Maye rises to top spot, CJ Stroud drops out of top three

It’s been a rough week for Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker. Not only did he have his worst performance of the season in a loss to SEC rival East Georgia, but that poor showing knocked him off the top spot in this week’s QB Power Rankings. It also left the race for the Heisman Trophy open.

Hooker bested Ohio State’s CJ Stroud on Heisman’s chances after Tennessee’s victory over Alabama on October 15, but a big win gives and a big loss takes away. Stroud is now the betting favorite again, despite having your worst performance of the season on Saturday as well (more on that a little later). This means that everything every hopeful Heisman has done up to this point is now null and void.

The final weeks of the regular season will determine who wins the award. Stay warm now or shut up forever. That’s not how it should be, but that’s how it is go go.
