Seamus Power does HOLE-IN-ONE and then pierces it twice more!

Seamus Power made an impressive hole-in-one on par-3 8th as he climbed the leaderboard on day three of the World Technology Championships in Mayakoba.

Power started the day well off the pace with 7-under-par for the tournament, but soon moved on to settling scores on Saturday as he seeks back-to-back PGA Tour wins following last week’s victory in Bermuda.

The Irishman birdieted the par-4 1st and then added another on the par-5 7th, before making an ace on the par-3 8th for 151 yards.

But Power wasn’t done there with the holes for the day.

Far from it.

He hit his second fairway shot on par-4 11th for another eagle, and then holed out of the greenside bunker on par-4 14th for another birdie.

Power then made an eight-foot birdie pass on the short par-4 17 en route to an excellent round of 8-under-63.

That saw Power enter the tournament contention 15-under, but the leaders are still off course, so it remains to be seen how far down the road to Sunday is.

His playing partner Joel Dahmen also had a few rounds, especially towards the end when he almost made a rare albatross.

Power moved to 32nd place in the Official World Golf Rankings after his second PGA Tour title last week.

It’s also fair to say that he joined the mix for a debut appearance on Luke Donald’s European Ryder Cup team next year.
